Alpha Omicron Pi was founded on a promise to serve not only one another but the greater community as well. This commitment reflects a philosophy of friendship, concern, and usefulness in the world.

Commitment to
Dignity

Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Commitment to
College Loyalty

From collegiate years on through alumnae involvement, the reason AOIIs continue service is the joy of spending time together and sharing the insights learned from the relationships we build and sustain.

Letter from the President

HELLO AND WELCOME!

Thank you for taking the time to take a look into Delta Nu’s website to learn more about us! The Delta Nu Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi was chartered in May of 2015. Since then, we have worked to form strong connections between the women in our chapter as well as within our community, both on campus as well as around Reno as a whole!

AOII’s tagline is Inspire Ambition. Our sisters live and breathe this tagline each and every day. Not only are AOIIs dedicated sisters and students, but also student leaders, interns in their fields of choice, athletes, and more. AOII provides an important support system for all of its members in order to help support each sister to be the best she can possibly be.

We are also so proud to support our entire Greek community through participating in their philanthropy events as much as possible. We pride ourselves on our philanthropy events that we hold, largely in support of the Arthritis Foundation, AOII’s international philanthropy. Most recently, we put on our second annual Alpha Male competition, in which we raised over $3000 for the Arthritis Foundation, as well as collecting supplies for the local Northern Nevada Humane Society, who we also support. We are also extremely proud to support our military troops that are away from home in ways such as sending letters or care packages to them.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look into our website! As you move through and learn more, if you have any questions about Delta Nu specifically, please feel free to reach out to any of our executive board! You can get into contact with any of them via the leadership page. We cannot wait to meet you soon!

Alpha Love,

Gabriella Nash, Chapter President
