Letter from the President

Hello gorgeous!

On behalf of the Alpha Omicron Pi's Delta Nu Chapter here at the University of Nevada, Reno, welcome! It is an honor and a privilege to represent Alpha Omicron Pi as Chapter President. The Delta Nu chapter is the home of inspiring women, and we are excited to add even more to our sisterhood. Alpha Omicron Pi on the University of Nevada campus was founded in May of 2015 and we have been growing ever since. AOII is made up of a powerful group of women who all contributed greatly to this organization. We pride ourselves on being diverse, as well as, all of the outside accomplishments we have gained as a chapter. We provide our women with the right tools to succeed after college and in their future endeavors.

AOII gives you the opportunity to meet lifelong friends, participate in our amazing philanthropy, and become the future leader we know you are. We were founded on the ideals of character, dignity, scholarship, and college loyalty, and we expect our women to live these values to the fullest extent through our sisterhood and surrounding community.

AOII has done more for me that I can ever put into words. This organization has brought me a home away from home. It has provided me my closest, most dearest friends, a powerful mentorship and my life long sisters. AOII has pushed me to be the best version of myself and to strive to be an active member in the community. AOII has given me the greatest opportunity of them all which is the position of Chapter President, allowing me to lead my sisters to Inspire Ambition every day. I never considered myself the stereotypical sorority girl and I went through recruitment on a whim and it turned out to be the greatest experience of my life. I highly recommend to everyone out there to give recruitment a try because you might find the women you never thought you needed.
